About Me

I have a love of surfing. Back in 1987, if I couldn't be on the waves, I started taking photos of others surfing. What started out as a hobby turned into a fascination. I spent time training and honing my skills at Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico and with HP as a Digital Print Workflow Specialist in Graphic Design.

In 2002, I started shooting professionally. I assisted on photo shoots with photographers Francis Hill and David Saffir. And, began building my own business. In 2012, I relocated to Colorado where I became a staff photographer for Sparta Combat League and adding Boxing & MMA to my portfolio.

 

With the upmost joy, I welcomed my son, Bodhi, into the world in 2015. With his birth, my photography side gig, understandably got put on hold. As he has grown, I have started doing studio work within my home, which is why he is the subject of most of my studio work. And, I started doing community photography for the Sierra Ridge Neighborhood. Where I have the honor of photographing numerous community events, including the annual Santa event....because Santa rocks.

Now, I am starting to open up my home studio to others, so that I can share my love of capturing the human spirit. My specialties include:
